On an innovation mission
mindset

The journey of the Innohubs pilot project in Nacka has begun. Twelve micro-enterprises and four "drivers” - innovation ambassadors from Nacka will now be selected to ”Mindset Innovation” - Nacka School Hub for Innovation. Seven workshops during this autumn that will lead them through the innovation processes, giving them new tools, inspiration and knowledge.

A promotion campaign consisting of mail, flyers and posts on the Nacka's website had triggered interest from more than 60 contractors and owners of micro-enterprises. Two seminars (on 20 and 28 September) where the pilot project and training program Mindset Innovation were presented and promoted attracted approximately 20 persons on both occasions. This project is a good example how Nacka can be more innovative and supportive of innovation and entrepreneurship. The workshop series based on the KREO-method will help participants generate new ideas and develop them further into innovative business concepts that can strengthen the competitiveness and profitability of the companies involved in the program. At the two promotion events participating entrepreneurs interested in the training program were welcomed and the project was introduced in general terms, including a short introduction to Edge Cities and the Innohubs project. Annika Löfgren, CEO and founder of KREO will be leading the  workshop series for the companies as well as the trainee program for innovation ambassadors. KREO offer consultancy services to develop a culture of innovation, entrepreneurship and creativity. Their proven model is based on research, more than 10 years of practical experiences and has been continuously developed together with customers over the years. KREO method was one of the good practices also in the Innohubs Guide Book. These are the topics of the workshop series organized within “Mindset Innovation” - Nacka School Hub for Innovation:

  • Sharpen your business idea
  • Challenges, goals and vision
  • Ways to increase profitability
  • Trendspotting as a tool for innovation
  • Reaching the right target groups through social media
  • Innovative business models in a global market
  • Sales Presentation / Closing Event - On this occasion we will also appoint ”The Most Innovative Micro-company” among the participants. The first upcoming event will be an introduction event for innovation ambassadors on the 24 October. Innovation ambassadors are driven leaders in their respective sectors (education, business, politics, public sector) who want to develop their knowledge about innovation and get the tools that can help them spread the innovation spirit within and across their professional field. The training program for selected 12 micro-enterprises will start on the 25 October. New reports will follow!
